Our laboratory
The IGL laboratory is a new designed object according to modern building science and ecological aspects. The local timber construction company "Talis Holzhaus" in Husum has done the planning and implementation. The building nearly got finished in just half a year of construction. After another six months with various trades, our laboratory is now ready for you in the small community of Wittbek!
The laboratory features modern water and air treatment, ecological energy management, geothermal energy, heat recovery, a filling station for e-cars, ecologically building materials, emission-free and fulfills DIN EN 13986 and EN 13501-1-norms.
This means that the building in the passive house design has the most modern thermal insulation, active and passive ventilation, a constant indoor temperature and the best air quality as well as heat exchangers, heat recovery and all of this in a controlled and tested quality, which exceeds the standard of the ordinance for the heat transfer coefficient (U-value) as fulfilled.
